Why the Liner Matters
In die-cutting, the liner acts as both a release surface and a process carrier. An unsuitable liner can contribute to curl, unstable web tension, inconsistent die-cut depth, difficult waste stripping, contamination or poor transfer performance.

Option |
Best Fit |
|
Glassine Release Paper |
General tape, label, foam and pressure-sensitive die-cutting where paper stiffness and cost efficiency are priorities. |
|
PET Release Film |
Electronics, thermal materials and precision adhesive components requiring smoothness, dimensional stability or tighter caliper control. |
|
Anti-Static PET |
Selected electronics and clean precision converting where static-related dust attraction or handling is a concern. |
|
Differential Release Liner |
Double-sided adhesive constructions and transfer processes that require a defined release sequence. |
